Operatives received customer orders through encrypted messaging apps, processed transactions through multiple UPI IDs to avoid detection, and dispatched parcels using Speed Post—the postal service's express delivery option. This approach allowed them to operate with relative anonymity while maintaining regular customer contact.
The network's use of legitimate infrastructure demonstrates how traffickers adapt to modern technology to expand their reach. By leveraging everyday apps and services, the gang minimized suspicion and created logistical advantages over traditional drug smuggling methods. The decentralized payment system across multiple UPI accounts further complicated authorities' ability to track financial trails.
